Working in the Data Team
Our team is responsible for the delivery of all data products generated by Open Cosmos and its partners. To do so, we manage the Satellite Image products and develop DataCosmos, an online geospatial data platform with a marketplace ofsatellite images, functionality to request new images from the satellites, and integrations with partner applications to extract detailed insights.
What will you be doing?
Joining the Data team, you´ll have the chance to apply and develop your skills, working
with EO professionals around the world. As a Data Processing QA Intern, you will contribute to:
- Perform quality assurance checks on satellite data products, including imagery, derived products, and metadata, to ensure they meet specifications before delivery
- Support the automation of routine QA processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual workload
- Maintain and update data quality documentation

- Knowledge of optical satellite image analysis and processing.
- Knowledge of geospatial analysis (GIS).
- Knowledge of Python programming.
- Knowledge of data pipelines.
- Solution-focused with a commitment to quality outcomes.
- A proactive approach to work with the ability to operate autonomously,
self-directed and self-motivate.
